      Verdict

      Guishan, whose previous seven victories had all been over this trip, dropped back to the minimum at Haydock on Saturday and with soft ground in her favour she battled on under her big weight. She has a 6lb penalty to carry but looks certain to go well. Diamond Lady has five victories to her credit though she's never won on anything but fast ground or Polytrack. Pixeleen has been raised 4lb for finishing second at Nottingham and is 9lb higher than her last winning mark so the vote goes to RURAL CELEBRATION. David O'Meara's mare last won at Ayr in July when the going was on the soft side. She's been steadily coming down the ratings and is now 3lb lower and is her trainer's only runner at the meeting. Dutch Destiny is likely to do better after a disappointing reappearance where she raced too free.
