      Verdict

      An interesting race for the money. DUKE OF FIRENZE will no doubt be back at his favourite York next month having won there in May though he ran even better when just touched off in a three-way photo in the Epsom Dash. Goldream generally performs at Listed and Group level and was narrowly beaten in the Group 2 Temple Stakes at Haydock in May. He will enjoy the drop in class though has always been regarded as better on fast ground. His stable also run Ornate, another dropping in class after a fair run in a Listed contest at York and has to be respected with Ryan Moore on board. Yalta looked a high-class future sprinter when landing the Molecomb at Goodwood but hasn't done as well as expected and finished last in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot. Monsieur Joe won this a year ago with Willytheconqueror third and has been running better than his form figures suggest.
