        Verdict

        Maljaa makes a belated seasonal debut and it remains to be seen if he can improve on last year's promising maiden win at York. Just Us Two continued his good progress with a winning reappearance at Windsor but steps up a couple of grades and SNAP SHOTS looks a safer bet. He finished runner-up in similar company at Haydock last time and should go close again. Union Rose looks high enough in the weights on last year's form so Excellent George is preferred of the remainder with Cam Hardie's allowance putting him back on a winning mark.
