        Verdict

        Paloma's Prince has the best piece of form of those with experience having finished third at Epsom last time, though it would be no surprise if Opinion were to improve past him after a modest debut at Yarmouth. John Gosden has sent out the winner of this four times in the last eight years, however, and as three of those were making their debuts, UMAYYAD fits the bill. The Montjeu colt cost 150,000gns and makes more appeal than fellow newcomer Silent Moment. The latter is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Congaree and preferred to stablemate Kiz Kulesi, while Northern Outlook and Al Mamzar are other debutants to note for the future.
