My Dad Syd got nowhere near all-the-way winner Dragon King over course and distance last month but that was only his second career start so he may have more to offer. Veteran Regal Parade has conditions in his favour and could give a good account while Mehronissa was just beaten at Windsor last month when attempting to follow up an earlier win at that track but Salisbury winner Extrasolar prefers faster going and Stake Acclaim has gone up 5lb since winning over 5f here three weeks ago. Tom Marquand is riding out of his skin and coaxed MAGNUS MAXIMUS back to his best at Ascot. He's only been raised 3lb and a follow-up could be on the cards as he's won here in the past.
