John Gosden often introduces some decent juveniles at this time of year and so we will give a tentative vote to Thinking Positive, Sunlight and Light Shift appear to be the main rivals. George Strawbridge bred and owns this daughter of Rainbow Quest who is related to plenty of winners including the high class Midnight Line. The colours have been carried by plenty of top horses in the past and this could well be another one. Sunlight also boasts a nice pedigree being by Derby winner Sinndar out of a Caerleon mare. She will get a mile and a half in time but this trip should be fine for her juvenile debut. The form horse in the race is Light Shift, who has put in two solid displays in two good maidens. The pick of the others could be Circle Of Love, but there is a lot to like about the pedigree of Thinking Positive and she is selected.
