The second division of the maiden looks as though it may prove to be just as informative as the first. Of the newcomers, Paul Cole who has a good record with his juveniles at this meeting, saddles Harcourt, a son of Cozzenne. The Michael Jarvis-trained Kirkham Abbey is a likely type on breeding being a son of Selkirk, while John Gosden's full-sister to the Cheveley Park Stakes winner Prophecy, Smoking Barrels, is another to consider. Sir Michael Stoute's Alkaased needs to improve on his debut effort at Doncaster but is entitled to but the TEAMtalk vote goes to Regal Agenda. Henry Cecil's son of Ali-Royal lost little in defeat when going down by just a short head to Constantine at Salisbury on similar going at the beginning of the month. With improvement to come he can go one better.
