In depth

Formwatch

Glenmorangie A little to prove after a couple of disappointing efforts and no easy task giving weight away all round.

Fly Gold Air (USA) Steadily improved since her introduction in June and she would have a good chance if repeating her effort when landing a Doncaster Nursery last month. One to consider.

Direct Play Proving to be a tough customer on his day and he may well be able to put his experience to good use here.

Broken Barricades (IRE) Failed to impress in a similar contest last time but the booking of Frankie Dettori suggests connections think there is more to come. A market move would be interesting.

Noble Nick Knocking on the door in similar company but his tendency to find one too good is off-putting.

Ithrair (IRE) Will need to settle better than he has so far to figure in such a competitive heat as this.

Orlass (IRE) Didn't get the run of the race last time but this step back up in trip should suit. Any rain would also increase his chance.

Arctic Falcon (IRE) Bred to get further in time and may be seen to best effect when upped in trip.

Our Glenard Needs to improve to figure here.

Foronlymo Woken up for the fitting of a visor last time but, on balance, he looks to have place prospects at best in this company.

Consignia (IRE) Shaped as if getting the hang of things last time but will need to continue to improve in this company.

Effervescing Appeared not to stay over a furlong further trip last time and even though the drop back to six should suit, he looks a little short of the mark against some of these.

Veda's Rainbow (IRE) Modest form to-date and best left alone here.

Cotton Kid (IRE) Improved effort to score on his first try with cut in the ground at Pontefract last time but this looks to be a stiffer task. Best watched.

Emerald Fire Shapes as if this trip should suit but others look to have stronger claims.

London Follies (IRE) Fair effort in good company last time but needs to recapture something like the form of his Chepstow win in August to figure.

Zandomeneghi (IRE) Modest efforts so-far and best watched.

Vintage Style Looks to have a little to find with some of these.

Mr Midaz Already looks to need seven furlongs and is another who looks to be one to watch for now.

Colonel Cotton (IRE) Going the right way and is one to consider if the market speaks in his favour.
