Captain Peacock bids for a hat-trick raised a further 4lb after winning at Kempton. Hermann is less exposed and was having his first start since January when fourth at Windsor while Go George Go has proved best on the all-weather so far but can figure on his recent second at Musselburgh. OPPOSITION (NAP) returns to action but won on his seasonal debut last year and followed that with a victory over course and distance. Ed Dunlop’s charge should be capable of better still this year and Silvestre De Sousa was on board when he won here. Excellent Puck won twice in 2015 including this race but hasn’t scored since while Lanceur missed most of last year and the handicapper has taken a chance dropping him a further 2lb after showing a bit more at Kempton last time.
