COVEY showed plenty of promise on his debut when narrowly beaten at Southwell a fortnight ago. The winner is rated 93 and that looks strong enough form to land this with Frankie taking over the reins. Palamon placed on the July course here on his debut but Molaqab could only manage third when a beaten favourite over a shorter trip at Doncaster in November. The latter shares ownership with Daarree, who makes most appeal of the newcomers.
