Verdict

Currently third favourite for the 2000 Guineas, TOORMORE is looking to land a hat-trick in this race for the Hannon yard. Well clear of today's opposition on official ratings having won the Group 1 National Stakes at the Curragh in September, he's the one to beat on his return to action. Stablemate Anjaal should also be thereabouts given he won the July Stakes last term but The Grey Gatsby has plenty to find with the selection on collateral form. Be Ready is also in the Guineas betting and signed off last season with an impressive victory in Listed company at Doncaster but maiden winners Postponed and Patentar are being throw in at the deep-end, although the former ran well when second in a valuable sales race here in October.
