Verdict

As is usually the case in these classified races, only a few pounds separates the field on official figures. That said, PREMIUM looks to have the strongest form on her sixth to Banoffee in last week's Cheshire Oaks at Chester. Charlie Hills' filly should come out best with any improvement on that performance. Speed Boogie and Thorpe will be winning races this year and have the edge on race fitness with Rhombus. The latter won in testing ground at Haydock in October and should stay this longer trip but Song Light and Astrosapphire will need to improve on recent form if they're to get involved.
