Any number to consider here but we'll put Chartist forwards in preference to Striking Spirit and Prohibit. The selection was almost 5 lengths behind Vhujon at Kempton but the race could hardly have panned out any worse for him and the run can be ignored. He should have derived considerable benefit from the outing though and should be capable of making his mark in this company. Striking Spirit and Prohibit both represent Khalid Abdulla and both are by Oasis Dream. Striking Spirit beat a subsequent Group 3 winner when landing his maiden at Haydock whilst his conqueror in a York nursery won a Listed race on his next outing. Probihit was a shade disappointing at Lingfield on his second start but the run came hard on the heels of his debut and there was plenty to like about the manner in which he landed his maiden in October. It's unlikely that there's another Sakhee's Secret lurking in this field and Chartist may prove good enough to take the honours.
