CREW CUT won this a year ago and scored again at Windsor in May. He's not badly treated and Stuart Williams has booked a 7lb claimer to ease the burden so he's taken to complete the double. Syrian Pearl, a recent course and distance winner, was beaten over two lengths a year ago and is worse off at the weights. The three-year-old Bahamian Dollar did it nicely at Redcar and isn't overburdened on his handicap debut while the filly Rococoa was caught right on the post as she attempted a double at Pontefract and is at the right end of the weights. Amood has been running well enough over this trip to consider despite never having won below a mile.
