This looks wide open but CAIRN ISLAND had excuses when on a hat-trick in a valuable sales race at Doncaster on his final start last year. Gelded since, Kevin Ryan’s son of Kodiac can make a winning reappearance. Course and distance winner Creative Force is the unknown quantity having a first run since down the field in the Coventry at Royal Ascot last June. Jumby should have more to offer this season but the drop back from a mile is a worry while Razor Glass will need to translate his form on Polytrack to this surface.
