In depth

Verdict

A tricky opener, despite the small field. Poets Dance proved very consistent last season and will find this easier than the Group 3 she contested on her final start in October. Garsman is 2-2 on the all-weather but 0-6 on Turf and the less-exposed Album and Intimate Moment make more appeal. ROMAN MELODY (NAP) is still a maiden but was finishing strongly over 5f on his reappearance at Kempton 11 days ago and must have an excellent chance of opening his account today back over the extra furlong. Infinite Grace will need to rediscover her best form to figure.
