FOUR WINDS can keep his classic dream alive and we can also expect to see African Art and Bridge Of Glory take another step towards fulfilling their obvious potential. Four Winds wasn't all that strong in the market ahead of his reappearance in a similar contest at Newbury where he found Musidora hopeful High Heeled too strong. The form of that race is already working out well and he ran as though the outing would do him good although the return to a mile didn't appear to be the obvious move; that said, connections have high hopes for him and this will determine plans for the rest of his season. He's not the only colt in this line-up hoping to make it at the highest level although On Our Way's Group 1 entries are over a mile. He didn't really impress on his return to action but he was smart at two and it's far too early to be writing him off. African Art is well regarded but lacks any big race entries and needs to take a big step forwards as does Bridge Of Gold but he has some big targets in his portfolio and runs for a trainer who usually knows what he has at home and he was impressive at Newbury. Patrician's Glory reappears for a new yard and has to prove that he can hold his own this term whilst Shampagne and Sohcatoa have run some sound races this season but could become increasingly vulnerable to late maturing types. The drop in trip is a minor concern but Four Winds gets the nod.
