A potentially-informative maiden but it may be telling that SNOW LANTERN still holds a clutch of fancy entries. A grey daughter of Frankel out of 1000 Guinea winner Sky Lantern, she chased home the smart Zabeel Queen on her debut at Ascot last summer and has been given plenty of time to mature. Oaks entry Delta Bay was clear of the third when runner-up to One Journey in October and she should make her presence felt with Frankie on board. The Gosdens also run Haija while Portfolio and Colour Of Light were others who started favourite on their second outing last season following a promising first run. Dawndiva met trouble in-running when third on heavy going here in October and she should be capable of better while Professional Widow and Velvet And Steel have also shown ability. Strawberri is a half-sister to four winners so may prove the pick of the newcomers, though she is likely to need further.
