Verdict

Nordic Sky made a very promising start at Yarmouth in September and landed a Pontefract maiden in good style on his belated reappearance last month. Early Applause didn't enjoy soft conditions at Haydock and is better than that while Aciano got no sort of run at Salisbury on Wednesday and the effort should be ignored. LITTLE BLACK BOOK has been caught on the line on his last two starts here and at Sandown and though 3lb higher this time is still progressing and can put matters right here. Imaginary World is still a maiden on turf but has been going very well and looks a big threat with his rider's claim an aid to his cause. Our Gal is on the upgrade and came with a very strong late burst to score over 7f at Yarmouth, while C&D winner Dunhoy is also respected.
