Verdict

Castana Dia beat Smeaton's Light by only a neck over 6f at Leicester though both have something to prove over this longer trip and Dashing Dick is preferred. The latter also scored at Leicester over today’s distance while Beauty Choice is back on a winning mark if rediscovering his best for a new yard. ROYAL MUSKETEER (NAP) also switched yards over the winter and wasn’t beaten far when only fifth at Doncaster on his reappearance. Both placed horses have subsequently won and Steph Hollinshead’s charge gets the vote on that form.
