Young jockey Mickael Barzalona had a superb Dubai Carnival and has been entrusted with the ride on NEEBRAS, who couldn't quite get to grips with the useful Libranno in the Group 2 July Stakes here. That represents comfortably the best form on view and he's taken to get his season off to a flying start. The filly Khor Sheed made her debut at Haydock before having her subsequent four runs here. She landed a Listed event and an auction contest on fast ground and her two defeats came on going with some give. She holds Masaya on that latest success though at this stage of the season it's impossible to tell which has trained on the better. Madany is held by Masaya on her final start but Sir Reginald is the type to do better in his second season and wasn't far behind stablemate Wootton Basset in a similar race to this at Doncaster in September.
