Great White Eagle picked up a Group 3 at the Curragh last month to remain unbeaten while Astaire beat Justice Day and Saayerr in the Gimcrack at York and should figure. Green Door may be best over 5f having won the Flying Childers at Doncaster last time and Hot Streak returned the easy winner of the Cornwallis over the minimum trip at Ascot. The latter, along with Shamson, had earlier found Supplicant too good in the Mill Reef over today's trip at Newbury and Richard Fahey's colt has leading claims but SUDIRMAN is just preferred. David Wachman's charge came up short in the National Stakes over a longer trip at the Curragh last time but had won the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the same track earlier and gets the nod back over 6f.
