        Verdict

        The three-year olds at the foot of the weights are an obvious starting point with FINEST LEADER looking to make it three in a row after reacting positively to the fitting of cheekpieces and a step up in trip. He's 10lb higher than for his two successes but should have more to offer and William Buick rides. Palamon receives weight all round and could well appreciate this step up to 1m2f for the first time. Most of the older brigade arrive in poor form but Kingori is a notable exception on his Turf debut and should get involved after coming up against a well-handicapped rival at Newcastle. First Officer has been gelded and, with cheekpieces applied, could also do better.
