Verdict

Tashawak showed progressive form as a juvenile and showed she is still on the upgrade when a smooth winner off a mark of 98 in a Listed handicap at Ascot on her belated return last month. John Dunlop's filly looks capable of making an impact at this level while Dolores was far from disgraced in the Coronation Stakes and will appreciate the drop in class. Kootenay is a tough performer who should give another good account but may find one or two too good but French raider Spring Star must be respected after winning in similar company at Chantilly last time.
