In depth

Verdict

Amlad made all over 1m2f at Beverley in April but similar tactics could set the race up here for REALLY SUPER. Ralph Beckett’s filly was a long way clear of the remainder when chasing home market leaders Star Rock and God Given on the Rowley Mile course here last month and may still be improving. Sufi should be thereabouts again but has now been a beaten favourite in three of his five starts while Marqoom hasn’t really threatened so far, though may do better now handicapping. York fourth Bedouin needs more and Maori Bob will need to settle better if he’s to see out the trip.
