Verdict
BARNEY ROY makes a belated seasonal debut but has gone well fresh in the past. He had last week’s Arc hero Torquator Tasso back in third when landing a Group 1 in Germany last year and is preferred to the other Godolphin runner and last month’s Cambridgeshire winner Bedouin's Story. Mostahdaf has won a couple of Listed races at Sandown this season and makes more appeal than the likes of King Vega, Brentford Hope and Tyson Fury while Ryan Moore’s presence suggests Khartoum is first choice of the Ballydoyle contingent despite finishing just behind stablemate Lough Derg when third at Dundalk last time.
