SUNDAY TIMES easily landed her maiden at Goodwood before a lacklustre effort in the Lowther at York but she bounced back in no uncertain terms when a close second to Lightening Pearl in the Cheveley Park and a repeat of that latest effort would suffice here. Pimpernel has won a maiden and two nurseries but was impressive on her last start under a big weight here and is worth a chance in this much higher grade. Regal Realm won a Group 3 over this trip on soft ground at Goodwood but didn't appreciate being stepped up to a mile in the May Hill Stakes at Doncaster and is back to her best trip. Alsindi was brought with a strong late run to capture the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes here and is improving fast and though Janey Muddles has a great deal more to do than when scrambling home at the Curragh her trainer doesn't waste journeys and there's more to come from her. Wading cantered home at Dundalk and, as the best-bred filly in the race, the daughter of Montjeu out of a half-sister to Sea The Stars and Galileo, must enter the equation.
