Verdict
Bonecrusher can land the card's finale under Frankie Dettori. The form of David Loder's gelding's fourth at Windsor last time reads well in the context of this contest and a first-time visor might just help the cause too. Gallant Hero is likely to be all the rage here. A dual juvenile winner, he has been disappointing since, including in a first-time visor last time. The jury is still out on him but he will rarely get a better opportunity. Shamrock City was a decent juvenile and ran his best race for a while when shot-headed by Duck Row here over a mile last time. He has won at this trip and, if returning to his best, it would be no surprise to see him go close. A Doncaster winner on easy going on only his second start last October, Barrissimo has not been seen since. He's potentially useful but might just be sharper for the run. Overall, then, Bonecrusher can land the spoils.
