If SOIE D'LEAU can return to the level of his first two starts this term, he could offer a spot of value in an open race. He bounced back from a poor effort at Ayr when a staying-on fourth on the Newcastle Tapeta last time and his runner-up effort here to Brando in April obviously reads very well, although the winner has clearly made giant strides since the spring. Better was expected from Rosie's Premiere last time and she could well bounce back here, whilst Top Boy looks on a fair mark which is boosted by the 5lb claim of Noel Garbutt. He houses each-way claims along with the likes of Snap Shots and Sandfrankskipsgo.
