Verdict

Reem won over today's trip at Meydan before landing a Listed prize over further at the same track in March and Mike De Kock's charge is not easily dismissed on his comeback. Manassas won the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Ascot in June though that win came on soft ground, while Captain Ramius and Masked Dance both won decent handicaps last month but will find life tougher in this grade. Mr David has claims on his earlier fourth in the Bunbury Cup at this track and may well figure, but lurking at the bottom of the weights is the unexposed UNEX EL GRECO. He blotted his copybook with a show of temperament at Lingfield back in April but has been given time to mature and is taken to build on the promise he showed as a two-year-old.
