Miss Lahar has won a Listed event at Naas on fast ground and can be forgiven a below-par effort in soft going at Newbury. She still finished ahead of Angels Will Fall last time while Winning Express has been in fine form over 7f of late. German raider Gracia Directa has won in this country before and has every chance on this season's placed efforts at York and Haydock but HOPES N DREAMS is a progressive mare stepping up to pattern company having won five times already this year. Her latest victory at Hamilton was her best effort yet and Kevin Ryan's charge gets the vote. Mince keeps coming up short but is not easily dismissed and neither is The Gold Cheongsam.
