      Verdict

      Guishan's winning run came to an end on this track and his two previous victories had come on ground with some give. Solar Flair is well up to this level as he showed at Nottingham and a 4lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run while RUSSIAN REALM would have an even better chance on his victory in a much better race at Goodwood in April. He hasn't run since the following month but hopefully will be ready to do himself justice. Intense Style has been in excellent form on soft ground and would be a contender if the going eases while Merhoob did extremely well for a 25/1 chance when chasing home Misterioso at Ascot. Mehronissa disappointed here last time and Dragon King is 6lb higher than when scoring here last August.
