Victory Angel is 6lb lower than when fourth last year but he might still struggle to reverse the form with winner GIFTED MASTER. Hugo Palmer’s top weight races off the same mark as 12 months ago and won the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood off a 2lb higher mark in August the last time he raced in a handicap. Haddaf and Hart Stopper run in the same colours but the former is better over 5f and the latter may find this company too hot. On The Warpath is race-fit but having a first run over 6f against battle-hardened sprinters. Only a neck separated Flavius Titus and Summerghand at the Craven meeting here and there shouldn’t be much between the pair again.
