While the likes of Chookie Heiton and Yorkies Boy will strip fitter for their recent outings, a few of these could just benefit from the run and the field can be narrowed down to just a handful. Border Subject is a smart performer and although he is effective at this trip, he seems best on fast ground over seven furlongs. He may find things happening a little too quickly inside the final furlong. Law Breaker is also respected now that he has proved himself on the turf after a successful spell on the all weather. That said he is a long way out of the handicap and could find himself well held in this company. Ellens Lad is another who should give a good account of himself and is 1lb better off with Ellens Academy after their last meeting. However, Ellens Academy excels at this trip and could well finally reward his beleaguered supporters if he puts in anything like the performance that saw him touched off in the Wokingham last year. Seven No Trumps rates as the biggest danger whilst Keiren Fallon is an interesting jockey booking for Hurricane Floyd as an outside chance.
