Verdict

The recent winners are all upped in class with Panning For Gold preferred to both Dion Baker and Reel Power. The former landed a hat-trick with last month’s Doncaster success and is 5lb higher while Night Arc is penalised for scoring at Sandown last week. Roman Dynasty has gone close since winning at Nottingham but CABINET OF CLOWNS faced a tougher task at Ascot last time and gets another chance having carried a big weight to victory over course and distance before that.
