Verdict

Blue Skyline looks the best of those with experience in the second division of this maiden on his third here nine days ago but it will be a surprise if he’s good enough to cope with a raft of potentially-smart newcomers. John Gosden’s Tuscan Gaze is a Derby entry and is a brother to a 6f winner on Polytrack and a half-brother to several other winners but the Richard Hannon’s pair are preferred. Photograph’s dam won her first two races but preference is for SKY POWER, who is a brother to two winners including the smart Fastnet Tempest – he cost 450,000gns. Nitro Express is by Dubawi out of a French 1000 Guineas winner so is bred to be smart, though he may just need this.
