No prizes for originality in siding with Queen Cleopatra, who dominant yard are always dangerous to oppose. Shamila and Antica are expected to go close from those with previous experience, while Nyarhini is an interesting newcomer to note in the betting. The last named hails from a yard that have been strangely quiet this season, though, and she may be best watched on her debut. Antica looks the pick of Mark Tompkins' pair in the race and she can go well for each-way backers. The same has to be said of Shamila, who was very well fancied on her debut. She is entitled to have come on for the run and can pose the biggest threat to the selection on this occasion. However, Queen Cleopatra's form is working out exceptionally well and she sets the standard for the rest to aim for here. The daughter of King Mambo was only two and a half lengths behind Tattersall Stakes winner Aussie Rules in a Group Three at The Curragh on her debut. A repeat of that form should be good enough in this company.
