    Verdict

Pogo beat recent Jubilee Stakes runner-up Sacred comfortably in this a year ago and has been racing at the highest level subsequently. Jumby was just over a length behind last year and is penalised for landing a Haydock Group 3 last month. ALDAARY ended 2021 completing a double in major Ascot handicaps then reappeared with an impressive success in a Haydock Group 3 last May. There was cut in the ground for all three victories so conditions should be fine for his comeback. Berkshire Shadow has run excellent races in the Lockinge and Queen Anne and looks certain to give a good account but Audience and Sam Maximus have a bit to find.
