We're going to take on Richard Hills and Azizi with MUSAAFER whilst Oasis Dancer and Hypnotized are amongst others to entertain. Richard Hills is clearly taken with Azizi and the colt has looked very useful on his day if not entirely straightforward as he often seems to hit a flat spot when asked to quicken from off the pace. This track often suits a front-runner and Musaafer, who still holds entries in the Dante and Irish Derby, should be in the right place as long as he settles better than he did in the Racing Post Trophy. Hypnotized picked up well to win at Kempton whilst Balducci battled gamely to win his maiden at the track last month and both are respected with the less exposed runners having a decent record in this race. Oasis Dancer is entitled to come on for his run at Newbury and looks poised to run a big race whilst Karaka Jack lost little in defeat behind Fallen Idol at Sandown. Black Spirit was highly tried after beating the useful Prompter on debut and may prove to be more competitive at this level but he looks to have enough weight for what he's achieved and the tentative vote goes to Musaafer.
