      Verdict

Red Jasper looks no nearer opening his account on recent outings over a mile while Slingshot gets a change of headgear attempting this longer trip for the first time after placing at Southwell. A winner over course and distance in November, CASTLEHILL RETREAT has been competing in a higher grade subsequently. He gets another chance back at this level fitted with cheekpieces for the first time. Been Bobbied is preferred of the remainder making his handicap debut.
