Thor De Cerisy has run well when pitched at the right level and it would be no surprise to see him opening his account over hurdles in this, though LEMON T is preferred. Ruth Jefferson’s charge easily won a bumper here in the spring, when Arnica was third, and he has a jumping pedigree. Rare Clouds was well backed when fourth at Wetherby and his stable is in much better form now while any market support for winning pointer Baron De Midleton would have to be taken seriously.
