Presented, who pulled up in his last two starts in the spring, started favourite on his reappearance at Hexham but had no answer to Matmata De Tendron. He should be thereabouts though the vote goes to ALEXANDER OATS, who hasn't won since February 2011 but continues to attract support. He's now on his lowest-ever mark and this could be his day. Shoal Bay Dreamer is climbing the weights without winning but last year's winner Boris The Blade was pulled up on his next four starts though he's back on the same mark and shouldn't be dismissed with his rider's claim a bonus. Dukeofchesterwood is consistent and invariably gets round these days, though he's 9lb higher than his only success over fences. Gorey Lane has shown some potential but ran a shocker on his reappearance last week and is best watched for now.
