Verdict

Having won at Market Rasen last month, KIMBERLITE CANDY never recovered from being badly hampered by an early faller at Newbury next time and was pulled up. He’s only six so still has time on his side and can recoup losses here. De Vous A Moi should benefit from a switch back to fences and isn’t badly treated. He’s won two of his three previous starts here and finished second in the other so is greatly respected. Newtown Lad needed the run when pulled up at Bangor last month and makes more appeal than Central Flame and Presented, who races from 4lb out of the handicap. Alto Des Mottes is still badly out of sorts.
