In depth

Verdict

Sincerest beat little when scoring at Killarney in first-time blinkers but has been raised a massive 17lb. Tenbury Wells finished second at Newmarket fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time and makes more appeal. Bonneval was placed yet again when runner-up at Ascot while both Menai Bridge and Lord Neidin won lower grade contests on the Turf last time. Crownthorpe is not out of this back on the Tapeta but the same comment also applies to FLYIN’ HIGH, who struggled in a Listed race over a longer trip at Newmarket last time having earlier completed a double in novice company over course and distance.
