In depth

Verdict

The Crisfords’ yard remains in top form and has an impressive strike rate here. CENTRAL HALL returns from a lay-off fitted with cheekpieces but found only Melfet, rated 86, too good at Kempton last time and can go one better in this. Weydaad returns to this longer trip having disappointed when sent off favourite over 6f while Irish Flame has switched yards and is a likely improver. Notimeforanother has placed in a bumper and debuts on the Flat.
