In depth

Verdict

Calculus failed to stay 1m3f at Kempton having previously finished second over track and trip while Real Terms showed major improvement at Wolverhampton last time. The more exposed Rhyme Scheme debuts for a new yard but a couple of these return from a lay-off including the 900,000gns yearling Power Of Time, subsequently sold for much cheaper having placed for Godolphin at Chelmsford last year. But DUEL IN THE SUN made a promising debut at Newmarket in June when finishing in front of a subsequent winner and he gets the vote to make a winning reappearance.
