In depth

Verdict

Ajman Prince is faced with a 6lb rise in the weights, a step up in class and a longer trip as he bids for hat-trick, though he landed a double over 1m4f here recently. Lexi's Boy was runner-up in a lower grade over track and trip last time but Royal Marskell finished ahead of Aramist, placed over hurdles last week, when sixth in the Northumberland Plate here in June. Grand Meister may struggle in this company so a chance is taken on GOOD RUN. He’s also returning from an absence but Saeed Bin Suroor’s charge showed progressive form last year and will likely appreciate this extra distance.
