Stonehaugh is taken to score here with Rebellion and Great Tidings rated as the main dangers. The selection has only had two runs to date but he will relish this step-up in trip and that could be the key to his chance. He finished third behind Violette at Hamilton last time in what was a better race than this but that was over 6f and he is bred to appreciate every yard of this mile. Rebellion is a well-bred colt by Mozart and he has to be respected. But he is bred to be better as a 3-year-old and unless the market vibes are positive it should pay to take him on. Great Tidings is an interesting newcomer from the Mark Johnston yard and his breeding certainly gives him a leading chance today. Once again a watching brief on the market is advised. Roman History ran well last time but his overall profile leaves him with a little to find and for the winner we are happy to return to Stonehaugh.
