Verdict

Island Flame drops back down in trip after placing over 1m2f while Captain Peaky went close over 1m1f in soft ground at Hamilton last week. Global Wonder was still beaten five lengths when runner-up here back in April and Where's Jeff is preferred with last month’s comeback run at Ripon under his belt. But IRISH TIMES is the least exposed and, having posted a much better effort on his handicap debut at Lingfield a week ago, Henry Spiller’s charge may prove good enough to open his account in this.
