Verdict

This is a very competitive sprint handicap, with at least half of the field having decent claims; but the handicapper has given Juwwi half a chance and he looks set to run well at a big price. Milton Bradley's nine-year-old has been in good form this year, winning at Doncaster last month, and while things haven't quite fallen for him in recent outings, he has been running well enough and the handicapper has now dropped him two pounds, which might just be enough to see him get his head back in front. There are any number of dangers, including Smart Predator, who returned to form with a win at Redcar last week and is still well treated on his old form. Cd Europe put one or two poor efforts behind him with an excellent run at York last time, Greenwood would have claims on his second to Fayr Jag at Pontefract, a race in which Seel Of Approval was not far away and should again be in the shake-up. Jim Goldie's pair, Pips Magic and College Maid, cannot be ruled out either, but Juwwi is likely to finish best of all here and is worth taking a chance with.
